Safety — SabiSanou

Every member on SabiSanou signs in with a verified Google account or email address, and every profile photo is checked before it goes live — your first photo is additionally checked to confirm it's a real, clear photo of a face. But no verification system replaces good judgment. Here's how to stay safe.

Before you meet

Keep conversations on SabiSanou chat until you're comfortable — don't rush to share your number or social media
Video call before meeting in person if it's your first time with someone
Be wary of anyone who avoids a video call, asks for money, or pushes you to move off the app quickly

On Video Chat

You're randomly paired with another approved member — you can end the call or hit "Next" at any time, no explanation needed
Report or block directly from the call if anything makes you uncomfortable — it ends the call immediately
Never feel pressured to stay on a call, share personal details, or do anything you're not comfortable with
Recording or screenshotting someone else's Video Chat call without their consent isn't allowed — report it if it happens to you

Meeting in person

Meet in a public place for the first few dates
Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting
Arrange your own transport to and from the date
Trust your instincts — it's always okay to leave if something feels off

Reporting and blocking

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can report them from their profile, from chat, or directly from a Video Chat call — reasons include fake profile, harassment, underage, or inappropriate content. Reporting is confidential. Blocking someone immediately and permanently hides you from each other. Profiles with multiple open reports are automatically hidden pending review by our moderation team.

Money and scams

SabiSanou will never ask you to send money to another member. Be cautious of anyone who, even after a short conversation, asks for financial help, investment "opportunities", or gift cards. Report and block immediately.
